THANK YOU!

The Christmas Market Committee would like to thank the IWAP volunteers for their fantastic contribution to the success of the Market in selling at IWAP tables, baking for our bake table, distributing posters, donating bottles for the tombola and items for the Charity table and for their work before, during and after the Market. Without these dedicated ladies, and their spouses/partners, the day could not have been such a success!

A big thank you goes out to the vendors for sharing the day with us and for donating raffle prizes. Our thanks also go to numerous others who donated raffle prizes and so contributed not only to the fun of the day but also significantly to the final amount of money raised for charity.

Our thanks goes also to the Music School of The City of Prague and Jan Neruda Grammar School who entertained us with wonderful music, The International Ladies’ Choir - Viva Voce who added sparkle to the day with lovely Christmas Carols, Azyzah Entertainment and US Girl Scouts Overseas for their work with the children’s activities and Master of Ceremonies William England who charmed the vendors and shoppers alike.

Thank you to our sponsors for their tremendous support and generosity and for providing vital financial and practical support for our charitable aims without which this event would not be possible.

Thank you to our media partners, Expats.cz, Kids in Prague and Prague TV for their help in promoting the event, Mrs Perchta Kazi Pátá from Autismo Mi Mundo for the help with the distribution of press releases, Big Ben Bookshop and Shakespeare and Sons for donating books.

Our Charity Christmas Market raised close to 180 000 Kč. Proceeds from the Charity Christmas Market will help support two Czech charities, Acorus and The Magdala Project.
