The International Women’s Association of Prague (IWAP) is a formally registered, independent, non-political, non-profit organization run voluntarily by its members since 1991. We are a supportive and diverse community of women inclusive of all nationalities and ages. We connect, have fun and make a difference together.
Our mission is to:
- promote friendship amongst women in Prague,
- offer a full calendar of engaging activities and cultural events, and
- make a positive impact through support for local charities.

Dear IWAP friends
As the new President of IWAP, and as we celebrate 35 years of connecting women in Prague, I am delighted to welcome you to our vibrant and evolving international community. IWAP today is open, inclusive, and rooted in belonging. Guided by our core values of Compassion, Curiosity, Connection, Charity, and Community, we bring together women from 29+ nationalities. We proudly celebrate our diversity and believe it is what makes IWAP strong, relevant, and welcoming. Whether you are newly arrived in Prague, building a career, raising a family, beginning a new chapter of life, or a retiree IWAP offers a warm space to connect and feel at home.
Through monthly meetings, interest groups, outdoor activities, sports, music, cultural activities, social gatherings, and charitable initiatives, meaningful friendships are formed and shared experiences grow naturally. IWAP is shaped by its members and volunteers, and there is always room for new voices and fresh perspectives. Wherever you come from and whatever brings you here, you belong at IWAP.
